Man who says Ready To Kill PM Modi for Rs 5 crore arrested

NEW DELHI: 06, FEBRUARY, 2021: Police have arrested an accused who demanded Rs 5 crore for the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to Indian media, the 43-year-old local businessman named Satya Nandam shared a post on the social networking site Facebook, saying he is ready to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi but if anyone paid him Rs 5 crore for this attempt. The post shared on Facebook went viral.
Local police said that Satya Nandam is a local businessman and a resident of the village.
Police have registered a case against the arrested accused under Indian Penal Code sections 505 (1) and 505 (2).
According to Indian media, the arrested accused had clearly stated in a shared post that he was ready to assassinate the Prime Minister. But he wanted to know who would pay him Rs 5 crore for this work.
