Mashal case: Main suspect sent to jail on 14-day remand

MARDAN: March, 12, 2018: The main suspect in Mashal Khan Lynching Case, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Tehsil Councilor, Muhammad Arif has been sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
The suspect was presented before the court of Senior Civil Judge, Asim Riaz on Monday.
Arif pleaded not guilty to the charges during court proceeding.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Mashal Khan was brutally beaten and shot dead at the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan over false allegations of blasphemy in April 2017.(03)
