Minor dies, five receive burns in Peshawar gas leakage blast

PESHAWAR: 05, DECEMBER, 2020: Gas leakage blast in a house claimed a life of a minor while five others received burn injuries in Peshawar on Saturday.
According to details, a gas leakage blast occurred in a house located near Qadirabad Road in Peshawar, as a result, a child was dead and five others were wounded.
After getting information, rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Lady Reading Hospital.
Blast caused severe damage to the house besides destroying all belongings and valuables of the family. While firefighters also rushed to the spot to control the blaze.
On the other hand, rescue officials said that the affected family had come to Peshawar from Lahore as guests. (04)
