Moazam ,from Hyderabad – Pakistan Joins 77th United Nations General Assembly

Hyderabad: 24 /9/2022: Moazzam Shah Bukhari Syed, Moazzam, a 25-year-old youth activist from Hyderabad, Sindh – Pakistan joins the Transforming Education Summit ahead of 77th General Assembly of United Nations at UN Headquarters in New York, USA.
Moazzam, also a 2022 Diana Award Recipient, is representing his country Pakistan and parent organization, The Walkway School, at the prestigious global event convened by the United Nation’s Secretary General as part of the UNESCO’s SDG4Youth Network which consists of young activists from round the globe working towards SDG4 – Quality Education.
The Transforming Education Summit is being convened in response to a global crisis in education – one of equity and inclusion, quality and relevance. Often slow and unseen, this crisis is having a devastating impact on the futures of children and youth worldwide. The Summit provides a unique opportunity to elevate education to the top of the global political agenda and to mobilize action, ambition, solidarity and solutions to recover pandemic-related learning losses and sow the seeds to transform education in a rapidly changing world. The summit has been co-organized by United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Organization.
Moazzam has been working in the field of socio-youth activism for the last nine (09) years in Pakistan. Moazzam’s recent work through his organization, The Walkway School, has time and again gained national as well as global appreciation for enabling the access to education for underprivileged children in rural south of Pakistan.
