And different people come out with different conclusions, yet it has not be confirmed what is the actual status.

However, a latest study at University of California has been conducted on this masterpiece of art and it has been concluded that whether Monalisa is smiling or not, depends upon the mood of the person seeing it, if the person is in joyous mood he would find Monalisa smiling and if he is in sad mood he would find out that Monalisa is actually not smiling but she is sad. 02
