LAHORE: 18, JANUARY, 2021: A motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident in Lahore on Sunday night.

According to details, the road mishap happened in Iqbal Town, area of lahore where a car hit a motorcycle, as a result, a motorcyclist died on the spot.

As per eye-witnesses, the accident occurred due to over-speeding.

After getting information, police and rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead body to hospital.

Earlier, on January 15, at least nine persons were seriously wounded in two separate road mishaps in Punjab on Thursday night.

According to details, first accident took place at the Channi Goth Road in Liaquatpur where a bus turned turtle, injuring at least five passengers.

After being informed about the road incident, rescue teams rushed at the location and moved the injured to nearby hospital.

Eye-witnesses said, the incident happened owing to over-speeding.

On the other hand, another similar incident occurred in Pindi Bhattian near Motorway Interchange where a rickshaw overturned, as a result, four persons were critically injured.

The injured were transferred to nearby hospital for medical treatment. (04)
