Motorway sections closed as dense fog grips various cities of Punjab

LAHORE: 14, JANUARY, 2021: Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, Lahore-Pindi Bhattiyan Motorway M2 and Lahore-Samundri Motorway M3 have been clased for all kind of traffic due to dense fog which blanketed parts of Punjab on night between Wednesday and Thursday.
Dense fog has also badly disrupted the air travel across the country and paralyed routine life.
The commuters were requested to avoid unnecessary travel and to stay home by the Motorway police.
The motorway police spokesman has advised to use fog lights in vehicles while driving at very slow speed as visibility was down to zero metres due to heavy fog. (04)
