NSC to discuss internal security issues, Afghanistan situation today

ISLAMABAD: 27, DECEMBER, 2021: The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting will be held today (Monday) in the federal capital to discuss the current situation in Afghanistan and other national issues.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the NSC session during which overall security situation in the region will be discussed.
The internal and external security situation of Pakistan will come under discussion during the meeting.
The first national security policy in the history of the country will be presented for approval, sources informed.
The services chiefs, intelligence officials and civilian leadership will attend the meeting.
The meeting will also be attended by Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed and National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf. (04)
