WELLINGTON: 12, DECEMBER, 2020: New Zealand has announced its squad for T20 series against Pakistan which will begin next Friday at Eden Park.
The New Zealand Cricket Board has announced the squad for the T20 series, Mitchell Sentner will lead the New Zealand team in the first T20 match.
According to the New Zealand Cricket Board, the squad includes Martin Guptill, Scott Kuggeleijn, Glenn Phillips, Ish Sodhi, Tim Seifert and Blair Ticker, while Todd Astle, Doug Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway and Jacob Duffy are also part of the squad.
Kane Williamson will lead the team in the second and third T20 matches Fast bowler Loki Ferguson is out of the series due to a bone stress injury of lumbar spine and Hamish Bennett was also ruled out of the series with an abdominal tear.
It should be noted that the The T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on December 18.
New Zealand will host three T20s and two Test matches against Pakistan, the first T20 match between the two teams will be played on December 18 in Auckland.
The second match will be played on December 20 in Hamilton, the third and final match on December 22 in Napier.
