PM Imran to launch development projects in Peshawar today

PESHAWAR: 08, DECEMBER, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday will reach Peshawar to launch development projects.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet Chief Minister Khyber Pakhunkhwa, governor and other provincial ministers.
During his visit to the city, the premier will also preside over different meetings.
Special assistant to CM on information and public relations, Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif informed that Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to would launch Pakistan Card that would encompass the government's welfare initiatives including Ehsaas Ration Card, Health Card and Kisan Card.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhary said ration programme would be started from January 2022.
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan would officially launch Ehsaas Ration Programme next year in January.
He said the under the programme 30 per cent subsidy would be given to those earning less than Rs 31,000 per month.
Earlier, the PM Imran Khan had ordered the authorities concerned to speed up the registration process for Ehsaas Ration Programme.
It is pertinent to mention here that, the registration process for the Ehsaas Ration programme had begun last month (November 8) across the country. (04)
