PML-N leader Pervaiz Malik laid to rest

LAHORE: 12, OCTOBER, 2021: Member of National Assembly (MNA) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Lahore President Pervaiz Malik has been laid to rest at Miani Sahib graveyard.
His funeral prayer was attended by party leadership including Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Supreme Court judge Umar Ata Bandial, former governor Punjab Latif Khosa, Khawaja Asif, Rana Sanaullah, Rana Tanveer and Ahsan Iqbal.
In a tweet, party president Shehbaz Sharif said that "Pervaiz Malik was an amazing human being, a trusted college and a loyal party worker who stood by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif all his life no matter what."
"Farewell my friend. May Allah be kind to you," he prayed.
On Monday, MNA and PML-N Lahore President Pervaiz Malik passed away at the age of 73, family sources confirmed.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Pervaiz Malik had served as Minister for Commerce and Textile in Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018. (04)
