PPP MPA Sharmila Farooqui s father passes away

KARACHI: 12, OCTOBER, 2021: Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) MPA Sharmila Farooqui's father Usman Farooqui passed away in Karachi in the early hours of Tuesday.
The PPP leader Sharmila Farooqui confirmed the death of her father in a Twitter post which read: "Together forever Papa.. your heart will beat with mine."
The funeral prayers of him will be offered at Rehmania Mosque, Tariq Road after Asr prayers today, She announced.
Usman Farooqui served as chairman of the Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).
Erstwhile president and Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and other party leaders expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of the MPA's father Usman Farooqui. (04)
