Pakistan records 194 more covid cases, positivity ratio stands at 0.70

ISLAMABAD: 30, MARCH, 2022: Coronavirus infections in the country have reached 1,524,549 on Wednesday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 194 persons infected with the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.70 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 575,109 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 504,962 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 218,988 in Balochistan 35,471 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 135,058, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 11,700 while 43,261 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 30,349 deaths so far while Two deaths recorded in a single day.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,554 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 8,095 in Sindh, 6,316 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 378 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 1,023 deaths and AJK recorded 792 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 27,442,945 corona tests and 30,349 in last 24 hours and 1,485,609 patients have been recovered across Pakistan.
Reportedly, 560,177 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 490,401 in Punjab, 212,003 in KP, 35,080 in Balochistan, 133,883 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 11,453 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 42,429 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 420 patients are in critical condition.
