Pakistan registers 3 coronavirus deaths in 24 hours, lowest in over a year

ISLAMABAD: 22, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has reached 1,282,195 on Monday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 322 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.86 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 474,243 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 442,479, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,604, in Balochistan 33,444 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,483, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,406 while 34,536 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,663 deaths so far, after 3 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 12,999 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,611 in Sindh, 5,816 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 358 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 952 deaths and AJK recorded 741 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,682,105, corona tests and 37,148 in last 24 hours and 1,230,970 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 452,859 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 422,413 in Punjab, 172,509 in KP, 33,004 in Balochistan, 106,233 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,198 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,754 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 1,043 patients are in critical condition.
