Pakistan reports 303 covid cases, two deaths in a day

ISLAMABAD: 21, MARCH, 2022: Covid-19 cases tally in the country has climbed 1,522,191 on Monday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 303 persons infected with the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 1.0. percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 573,753 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 504,442 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 218,689, in Balochistan 35,458 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 134,963, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 11,666 while 43,220 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 30,331 deaths so far, after two deaths were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,550 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 8,091 in Sindh, 6,307 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 378 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 1,022 deaths and AJK recorded 792 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 27,175,808 corona tests and 30,300 in last 24 hours and 1,476,120 patients have been recovered.
Reportedly, 553,845 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 488,264 in Punjab, 211,411 in KP, 35,059 in Balochistan, 133,723 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 11,428 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 42,390 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan while 493 patients are in critical condition.
