LAHORE, 16, DECEMBER, 2020: Veteran Pakistani film actress Firdous Begum passed away at the age of 75.
Famous actress Firdous Begum's family on Wednesday has confirmed her death.
The actress was admitted at the private hospital Lahore three days back after suffering from a stroke.
She was undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Lahore.
The Heer Ranja actress was rushed to hospital on Monday in critical condition and was diagnosed with brain hemorrhage.
Other films of Firdous, who started her career in Fanoos (1963) included Khandaan, Malang, Lai Laag and Aurat.
Actress Firdous Begum was born on August 4, 1947 in Lahore. Parveen, popularly known as Firdous in the film Nigri, won the hearts of fans with her performances.
