Road accident claims two lives near Khanewal

KHANEWAL: 22, FEBRUARY, 2021: At least two persons were dead in a road crash near Khanewal on late Sunday night.
According to details, the accident happened near Khanewal where an over-speeding car collided with a mini-truck, resulting two people died on the spot and three others were wounded.
The ill-fated car was going to Multan from Sahiwal when it met an accident near Khanewal.
Earlier, on February 19, two children were dead while eight others were wounded in a collision between a truck and a school van in Bahawalpur on Friday owing to dense fog which has gripped parts of Punjab.
According to details, the accident took place at Hasil Pur road in Bahawalpur.
After getting information, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to the hospital.
Rescue sources informed that, five children were moved to Victoria and four to THQ Hospital
