Road accident in Okara leaves one dead, two injured

OKARA: 10, NOVEMBER, 2021: One person was dead while two others were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a mini truck in Okara on Tuesday night.
According to details, the incident took place near Akhtarabad area of Okara where an over-speeding mini truck hit a motorbike, as a result, a man died on the spot and a woman and a girl were seriously injured.
On receiving information about the road crash, rescue workers reached the spot and moved the dead and injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Okara.
According to rescue sources, the deceased was identified as Imran.
Two days ago, two persons of a same family were dead while two others were injured in a road accident in Uch Sharif on late Sunday night.
According to details, the road mishap occurred near Uch Sharif Interchange of Motorway M5, where an over-speeding car collided with a trailer, resulting, two members of a same family died on the spot and two others seriously wounded.
The ill-fated car was going to Karachi from Swat.
After being informed, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
Rescue sources said that the deceased were identified as Umar Ali and Rashid Ali. (04)
