Road accident in capital leaves three dead

ISLAMABAD: 16, NOVEMBER, 2021: At least three persons were dead when an over-speeding car collided with a road divider and overturned at the Expressway in capital on Monday night.
According to details, the road mishap occurred at teh Expressway near Faizabad where a car turned turtle after hitting the road divider and collided with four other vehicles, as a result, four persons injured seriously.
After getting information about the road crash, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the injured to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad where three of the injured succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
Hospital sources informed, the deceased were identified as Fahad Islam, Haris and Shariq and were residents of Jhelum and Rawalpindi.
Earlier, on November 13, at least eight persons were wounded in the pileup involving multiple vehicles in Sukheke on Friday night.
According to details, the accident happened near Kot Sarwar where an over-speeding car turned turtle and five other vehicles coming from behind collided with each other, resulting in a pileup.
After getting information about the crash, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The condition of some of the injured are said to be critical, rescue sources said. (04)
