SABS, IVS and AROR Uni expect to collaborate for promotion of art, Design, and Heritage

Jamshoro: 16 March 2023: Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro, Indus Valley School (IVS) of Art and Architecture Karachi and Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage Sukkur expect to collaborate in future for promotion of Art, Design, and Heritage in the country.

A high level meeting was held at IVS Karachi, which was attended by SABS University Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, VC Aror University Sukkur Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, Executive Director IVS Faiza Mushtaque, Architect Hamir Soomro and others. The officials paid visit to different departments, studios, class rooms and other facilities available at IVS Karachi. All three art institutes agreed to make a collective plan for future collaboration to project art, design and heritage education in the country, to promote research aspect, exchange of students and faculty members of related fields, to conduct workshops and organize joint exhibitions.

Vice-chancellor SABS Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto stated that it is important to work for betterment of education in the universities and it is expected that all art related universities of the province will come together on a single page for single cause that is promotion of art education at grass root level. Dr. Arabella Bhutto said that working together will offer benefits for uplifting of universities to the next phase of art and design. In future various collaborative objectives are expected to achieve after this visit.
