SANA deeply saddened at the death of Adi Irshad Abbasi

Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) Edison, New Jersey, 07 April 2022: Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) is extremely shocked and aggrieved at the sad demise of the former Vice President (Women) of this organization, Adi Irshad Abbasi. Adi Irshad Abbasi breathed her last in Karachi earlier today. Adi Irshad Abbasi was a relentless fighter for the rights of the marginalized communities of society, especially women, minorities and poor. She bravely fought the case of Sindh from the front and never shirked the responsibility whenever an opportunity to raise a voice for Sindh occurred.
Adi Irshad Abbasi, who was genuinely loved by the community, lived an exemplary life as a human being, an academic and a leader. She played a leadership role in the advocacy activities of SANA and her contributions as the executive committee member of the organization can never be forgotten by the Sindhi community in North America. SANA expressing its deep sorrow on the demise of Adi Irshad, prays for a place in Jannatul Firdous for her soul. May she rest in the eternal peace of paradise, Ameen!.
