KARACHI: 28, SEPTEMBER, 2021: Sindh High Court on Tuesday has rejected the plea filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member and Sindh Assembly Opposition Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh seeking disqualification of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

The PTI leader, in his petition, stated that the CM should be disqualified as he had earlier been disqualified by the Supreme Court in a dual nationality case and directed to return all perks and privileges he had received from 2008 till 2013 but he did not comply with the order.

Adil claimed that in a plea CM Sindh had contested the election on the basis of a false declaration.

He appealed the Sindh High Court to direct the ECP to de-notify Shah as a member of the provincial assembly. (04)
