LAHORE: 14, DECEMBER, 2020: Pakistani celebrities Bilal Abbas and Sarwat Gillani have been included in UK publication Eastern Eye's list of Top 50 Asian Celebrities of 2020. 

According to details, Bilal Abbas has been called as 'fastest rising acting star in Pakistan' by the Eastern Eye and was number 28 for his phenomenal work in Pyar ke Sadqay and Ek Jhooti Love Story. 

"With some more high-profile projects on the way, Khan looks like the future of Pakistani film and television," his description read. 

On the other hand, Sarwat Gillani was number 21 of the list of top 50 Asian celebrities of 2020 for her outstanding performance in Churails. "With the electrifying drama, she opened the door for a new era of TV content in Pakistan box and consolidated her position as a feminist icon," the publication read. 

In addition, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy was placed on number 49th, the only director on the list. She was acknowledged for using her platform "to raise awareness about social issues, nurture new talent and gain international attention for her work." (04)
