Security forces kill two terrorists in South Waziristan operation

RAWALPINDI: 18, JANUARY, 2021: Security forces on Monday have killed two terrorists and one other was injured during an intense exchange of fire on Monday intelligence based operation (IBO), military's media wing said.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Nargosa area of South Waziristan and in an exchange of fire two terrorists of TTP Sajna group were killed while one other was arrested in injured condition.
ISPR further informed that, the slain terrorists were identified as Usman Ali and Waheed, were involved in several attacks on security forces and were IED experts, terrorist trainers and motivators.
Terrorist Usman was also involved in the attack on security forces on 14 October 2020 in which Capt. Umer Cheema, two JCOs and three soldiers martyred whereas four others were wounded, ISPR added. (04)
