Sindh Apex Committee meeting to be held today

KARACHI: 25, JANUARY, 2021: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will preside over the Apex Committee meeting at CM House in Karachi today (Monday).
The meeting will be attended by Chief Secretary, IG Sindh, DG Rangers and Corps Commander Karachi.
Sources said that a strategy on the law and order situation in the province and the National Action Plan (NAP) will be discussed in the meeting.
Briefing on the registration of madrassas, street crime situation in the province and progress on prison reforms and Safe City project will come under discussion.
The Committee will also discuss strategies for the security of Chinese nationals.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Sindh Apex Committee meeting has been convened after five months.
On August 24, 2020, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah chaired the meeting of Apex Committee in which he had directed the education and literacy department to register madrassas as education institutions.
