Sukkur: Two brothers burned to death, one hurt as fire erupts in cotton store

SUKKUR: 18, NOVEMBER, 2020: Two brothers burnt alive while one other was injured in fire incident which erupted in a cotton store located in Saleh Pat area of Sukkur on Tuesday night.
According to eye-witnesses, the three brothers were in the store when suddenly the fire broke out which was so severe that they failed to come out of the store.
After getting information about the incident, rescue team rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
The dead and injured were moved to nearby hospital.
Earlier, on November 17, fire broke out at cloths warehouse located near Sher Shah Graveyard in Karachi on late Monday night which spread quickly and engulfed the entire building.
After being informed, four fire brigade vehicles reached at the location and brought the fire under control.
According to fire brigade officials, the blaze has badly damaged the godown adding that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
No human loss was reported in the fire incident, however, valuables worth millions of rupees were burnt to ashes. (04)
