Supreme Court orders to remove Murtaza Wahab as Administrator Karachi


KARACHI: 27, DECEMBER, 2021: Supreme Court (SC) on Monday ordered to remove Murtaza Wahab from the post after heated arguments during the hearing of a case pertaining to the Gutter Bagheecha case.
According to sources, the court got angry at Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab over disturbing the decorum of the court and Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) ordered him to leave the court immediately.
CJP remarked that "the Karachi administrator is doing politics here. Get out [from the court]."
The apex court while directing Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah to appoint a "competent and unbiased" Administrator for Karachi saying that Murtaza Wahab is acting like a politician instead of an administrator. (04)
