TLP protest must be handled wisely as per law, Jibran Nasir

Karachi: 24 October 2021: Those dying in streets of Lahore are Pakistanis before members of TLP. PTI mishandled this by arbitary detention of SaadRizvi. PTI never arrested him against FIRs but detained him through executive orders. This violence will fortify support for TLP & encourage extremism.
If State was serious against extremism it would have moved for dissolution of #TLP as promised by PTI & would've dismantled it's structure systematically instead it was allowed to operate freely after being proscribed like SSP/ASWJ was allowed to do by State for many years. On top of it PTI lost moral high ground by detaining #SaadRizvi under MPO & ATA both of which were arbitary & held illegal by Provincial & Federal Review Board respectively with current detention held illegal by LHC. At same time State allowed TLP to mobilize & contest LG cantonment polls. Loss of life today of both TLP members & police officers is most condemnable. State since 2016 has repeatedly allowed for clashes between TLP and Police forces having no regard for life of ordinary citizens only because it wants to retain TLP as a relevant but controlled nuisance.
