TV anchor Imran Riaz Khan reached ‘safe at home’

Islamabad: 25 September 2023: Imran Riaz Khan, an anchor who had been missing for more than four months, has been located and is now "safe at home," Punjab Inspector General (IG) Dr. Usman Anwar said on Monday. Hassan Iqbal, the district police officer for Sialkot, and Mian Ali Ashfaq, Riaz's attorney, also confirmed the development.
A YouTuber and television host named Riaz was detained two days after violent protests erupted across the nation in response to the detention of PTI Chairman Imran Khan on May 9.After his arrest, he was last seen being escorted to the Cantt police station before being transferred to the Sialkot prison.
On May 15, a law enforcement official informed the Lahore High Court (LHC) that the anchorperson had been released from custody following the signing of a written undertaking.
