Islamabad: 21 March 2021: Any knowledgeable political theorist, diplomate must have been in support of Afghanistan peace, as it is important for the region and its development contain immense important, like a phone with a dead battery, no matter which company does it belong if the battery is dead it is useless in the same way, Peace in Afghanistan is important, its surrounding are getting developed but Afghanistan, lies in the centre and still struggling, its people are being killed on daily basis, it has faced many wars, invasions and bombs.

The generations of Afghanistan have vanished, the drug trade is rampant. Recently, the USA announced its withdrawal from Afghanistan, meanwhile, a meeting in Russia is convened, where stakeholders from Afghanistan, Russia, Pakitan and Chinese prominent personalities have taken part. What is significant is that the US sent its emissary on Afghanistan to the event in Russia, even though Washington and Moscow rarely see eye to eye, especially in the international arena.

Joint statement mention that there will not be any offensive activity and violence. The Taliban say the US is not complying with its end of the deal signed in Doha in 2020, and there was no clear signal from the militia that they are willing to cease all hostilities in the interest of peace. Until there is such a commitment, it would be too early to celebrate. However, considering the complexity of the Afghan issue, the fact that the dialogue process is continuing is still a better alternative to settling scores on the battlefield. Taliban have the upper hand. The USA never knew whether it will honour the agreement or not.
