New York: 3 February 2022: So many young people nowadays liken desire to being thirsty. Well let the record show, that for her, I will always remain dry-mouthed. For my desire to please her knows no bounds. She rescued me from drowning upon dry land. My tongue now knows the taste of bliss, because of her. I will drink from her fountain for as long as she will have me. I crave the waters of no other woman but her. I pray that I remain baptized in her love until the end of all time.
Looking back now, I admire Daniel even more than I originally did, when I first read of his fate. For then, I had mistakenly believed that he was the lucky recipient of mercy. But now, I know better. The lions brought no harm to him, because royalty recognizes its own. And as I myself, seek to become a king within my skin, I pray that the Creator of All, is as merciful to me as I seek to crawl out of this den I’m in.
