Two policemen martyred in Bajaur blast

BAJAUR: 13, NOVEMBER, 2021: Two police personnel were martyred in a remote control blast in Bajaur on Saturday.
As per sources, a bomb was planted to target cops deployed for security at a dam site in tehsil Khar of the district.
The police have cordoned off the area and commenced search operation, the officials said.
Earlier, on October 27, an assistant sub inspector and three other cops were martyred after unidentified attackers opened fire on their vehicle on Lakki Marwat Road.
According to details, the suspects who were riding on motorcycles opened fire on security personnel's vehicle, as a result, four policemen embraced martyrdom including assistant sub inspector.
Police sources said, the assailants have managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
As per police, the martyred policemen were identified as Yaqoob, Inam, Mustaqeem and Raheem. (04)
