Two terrorists killed in Khuzdar operation: CTD

KHUZDAR: 09, NOVEMBER, 2021: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed two terrorists during an operation in Khuzdar on Monday night.
According to CTD spokesperson, an intelligence based operation (IBO) carried out in Saruna near Khuzdar during which terrorists opened fire.
In retaliation, the security officers killed two alleged terrorists.
Weapons and explosive material were also recovered from the hideout of the terrorists.
The CTD has registered a case and commenced investigation.
Earlier, on November 2, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) had killed four terrorists of a banned organization in Hangu on Tuesday.
According to details, CTD team was returning after a search and strike operation in Hangu and its adjacent areas when terrorists opened fire on the team.
In exchange of fire, terrorists were fleed after which CTD conducted a search operation in the area, and killed four terrorists.
The CTD officials said, four SMGs, 16 chargers, four bundlers and hundreds of bullets were recovered from the terrorists.
The slain terrorists were identified as Sadiqullah alias Al Qaeda, Ahmed Rahim alias Saud, Samim Saeed alias Ustad and Mustafa Khan alias Mullah, they added. (04)
