Universities across Pakistan likely to reopen from mid-July

ISLAMABAD: 24, JUNE, 2020: The federal government is considering to reopen the universities across the country from July 15.
According to concerned sources, Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been informed in this regard while suggestions have also been sought from universities administrations across the country.
In March, the government had shut down all educational institutions owing to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Federal Minister for Education tweeted that, "The decision was taken in the National Security Committee meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan which was held in Islamabad. (04)
