LAHORE: 27, JANUARY, 2021: Robbers shot dead a woman on offering resistance during a dacoity in Lahore on Wednesday.

According to police, the robbers shot and killed the woman on resistance at Baradari Road in Lahore besides looting cash and other valuables to her. 

The assailants have managed to flee from the scene after committing crime. 

The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Mobina.

The dead body was transferred to hospital for further medical examination. 

Earlier, on January 25, a man was shot dead by bandits on resistance during a dacoity incident in Karachi on Monday.

According to details, the tragic incident took place in the Light House locality's Chapal Gali, in Karachi where a trader gunned down while resisting a robbery bid. 

Police said that the robbers looted Rs1.5 million cash from him besides looting two shops and a warehouse.

On offering resistance, the armed men shot dead him on the spot and fled, police added.

After being informed, a police team reached the crime scene and moved the dead body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects. (04)
