Corona infections cross 488 million worldwide, deaths hit 6,167,166


LONDON: 01, APRIL, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 488 million (488,675,422) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 6,167,166 lives worldwide so far and 423,683,048 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 81,780, 503 and the total number of deaths has reached 1,007,320.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 43,025,775 cases with 521,211 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 29,947,895 patients and 659,860 deaths.
The coronavirus has infected 25,614,843 people in France and left 142,273 dead.
Germany registered 21,228,065 patients with 130,045 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 21,147,425 and death toll rose to 165,379.
In Russia, 17,842,925 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 368,722.
Turkey reported 14,860,560 cases so far while death toll jumped to 98,033.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 159,383 in Italy while 14,642,354 infections recorded.
The death toll from Coronavirus in South Korea has risen nearly 13,375,818 with 16,590 people affected.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 11,508,309 with 102,392 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Vietnam has jumped to 9,564,609 and 42,493 have been died.
Argentina recorded 9,037,911 COVID-19 cases with 128,019 fatalities so far.
The number of cases in Netherlands surged 7,859,274 and death toll crossed 21,987. (04)
