Coronavirus kills seven in Pakistan, infects 252 more

ISLAMABAD: 26, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has jumped to 1,283,475 on Friday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 252 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.71 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 474,818 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 442,804, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,855, in Balochistan 33,467 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,580, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,411 while 34,540 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,697 deaths so far, after seven fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,832,091, corona tests and 35,176 in last 24 hours and 1,241,289 patients have recovered whereas 958 patients are in critical condition. (04)
