Covid-19 pandemic takes 5,147,163 lives worldwide, cases cross 256 million

LONDON: 19, NOVEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 infections worldwide crossed 256 million (256,348,897) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,147,163 lives worldwide so far and 231,550,769 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 48,398,455 and the total number of deaths has reached 789,155.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,489,623 cases with 465,082 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,989,962 patients and 612,177 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 9,721,916 and death toll rose to 143,559.
In Russia, 9,219,912 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 260,335.
Turkey reported 8,503,220 cases so far while death toll jumped to 74,428.
The coronavirus has infected 7,351,324 people in France and left 118,373 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,063,775 and 128,634 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,312,089 COVID-19 cases with 116,341 fatalities so far.
Germany registered 5,233,821 patients with 99,169 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,074,027 with 87,804 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,040,665 and death toll crossed 127,963.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 133,034 in Italy while 4,893,887 infections recorded.
