Fareed Express Derails at Kotri Station; No Casualties, Services Halted

KOTRI: 24.09.2025: In a concerning turn of events, three bogies of the Fareed Express, enroute from Faisalabad to Karachi, derailed at Kotri Railway Station on Wednesday.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, as confirmed by railway authorities.
As a result of the derailment, train services on the down track have been temporarily suspended, causing travel delays for passengers on the route.
Rescue operations are underway, with railway staff and a crane dispatched to the site to lift and reposition the derailed coaches.
