Karachi/ Mumbai: 15 July 2024: There's a strong rumor circulating (which seems almost confirmed now) that Fawad Khan will soon appear in an Indian film. According to the fragmented reports we've gathered, he will co-star with Vaani Kapoor in a romantic drama. The storyline revolves around two individuals dealing with personal struggles, attempting to rebuild their lives. This movie is being labeled as an 'international project.' Hmm... Every time there's a thaw in the tense relations between India and Pakistan, it just makes us go 'Awww...'

Before becoming the muscular prince in Khoobsurat (2014), the beloved son and brother in Kapoor & Sons (2016), the punk DJ in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), or the devoted husband in Humsafar (2011) and Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012), Fawad Khan had a diverse background as a computer programmer, singer, rock band member, and was notably shy. Born into a Pathan-Punjabi family in Karachi, Khan probably never imagined he would become such a sensation across the border in Bollywood.

What set Khan apart from other newcomers in Hindi cinema was his unique persona. Married to his childhood sweetheart Sadaf, he adamantly avoids kissing his co-stars and maintains a positive stance towards fellow actors. Additionally, he frequently collaborated with filmmaker Karan Johar. In many ways, Fawad Khan evoked memories of another Bollywood icon, Shah Rukh Khan. In an alternate reality, Fawad could have been the fourth Khan alongside Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman.
