Global corona death toll hits 5,121,981


LONDON: 16, NOVEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 infections worldwide crossed 254 million (254,588,767) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,121,981 lives worldwide so far and 230,167,433 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 48,072,898 and the total number of deaths has reached 784,779.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,456,401 cases with 463,852 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,960,766 patients and 611,384 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 9,600,369 and death toll rose to 142,945.
In Russia, 9,109,094 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 256,597.
Turkey reported 8,432,018 cases so far while death toll jumped to 73,746.
The coronavirus has infected 7,290,886 people in France and left 118,224 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,045,212 and 128,272 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,307,159 COVID-19 cases with 116,250 fatalities so far.
Germany registered 5,068,919 patients with 98,361 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,056,954 with 87,716 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,034,266 and death toll crossed 127,833.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 132,819 in Italy while 4,865,260 infections recorded.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 143,670 with 4,251,076 people affected. (04)
