Lahore: Four dead as roof caves in

LAHORE: 29, JANUARY, 2022: At least four persons were dead while one more was wounded when roof of a dilapidated house fell in Lahore on Friday night.
According to details, the incident occurred Mominpura locality of Baghbanpura in Lahore where roof of a house collapsed, burying five persons under the debris.
After being informed, rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved dead bodies of two women and two children from the rubble while a minor boy was rescued in injured condition.
The dead bodies and injured were shifted to hospital.
Earlier on January 24, at least two people were dead while two others were injured in a road accident in Pakpattan on Sunday night.
According to detail, the road mishap occurred at the Dipalpur Road in Pakpattan where a van carrying wedding guests collided with a trailer.
As a result, a man and his son died on the spot and two others were wounded.
After being informed, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
The deceased were residents of Chak Dhawan near Pakpattan. (04)
