MOFA, Indian network of extra-territorial killings needs coordinated response

The Foreign Office (FO) stated on Friday that the Indian network of extrajudicial and extraterritorial killings has become a "global phenomenon" requiring a coordinated international response.

This statement followed a report by The Guardian on Thursday, which claimed that the Indian government has been assassinating individuals in Pakistan as part of a broader strategy to eliminate terrorists residing on foreign soil.

Citing intelligence officials from both nations and documents provided by Pakistani investigators, the report suggests that India's foreign intelligence agency began conducting overseas assassinations as part of a more assertive national security approach after 2019.
