Nine seriously hurt in Attock house fire


ATTOCK, 20, NOVEMBER, 2021: At least nine people were seriously wounded in a blast due to gas leakage in a house in Attock on Friday night, destroying the infrastructure completely and also damaging nearby houses.
According to details, the gas leakage explosion happened in a house located in Farooq-e-Azam Colony in Attock, resulting, nine people including six women were critically injured.
The victims came to Attock from Lahore to attend a wedding ceremony.
On receiving information, rescue teams reached the spot and transferred the injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Attock where three critically hurt persons were referred to Rawalpindi.
A day earlier, At least three members of a family were burnt to death in an explosion in a house owing to gas leakage in Rawalpindi on Friday.
According to details, the gas leakage blast occurred in a house located in Mazharabad, area of Rawalpindi, killing at least three people including the mother and her two children.
On receiving information about the incident, rescue teams rushed to the spot and moved the dead bodies to hospital for autopsy.
The identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, rescue sources said. (04)
