One-wheeling claims two lives in Wazirabad


WAZIRABAD: 23, NOVEMBER, 2021: At least two youth were lost their lives when their bike collided with a mini-truck while doing one-wheeling on their motorbike at the busy Grand Trunk (GT) Road in Wazirabad on Monday night.
According to details, the road crash happened at Grand Trunk (GT) Road in Bhudha Rajda area of Wazirabad, where two youth dead on the spot after being hit by a mini-truck when they were performing one-wheeling on their motorcycle.
The deceased were identified as 18-year-old Subhan and 18-year-old Ali.
After being informed, police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Civil Hospital.
Subhan was resident of Muhala Balochi Gala while Ali was resident of Muhala Shesh Mehal, rescue sources said.
Earlier, on November 16, at least three persons were dead when an over-speeding car collided with a road divider and overturned at the Expressway in capital on Monday night.
According to details, the road mishap occurred at the Expressway near Faizabad where a car turned turtle after hitting the road divider and collided with four other vehicles, as a result, four persons injured seriously.
After getting information about the road crash, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the injured to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad where three of the injured succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
Hospital sources informed, the deceased were identified as Fahad Islam, Haris and Shariq and were residents of Jhelum and Rawalpindi. (04)
