Pakistan lifts all coronavirus related restrictions: NCOC head

ISLAMABAD: 16, MARCH, 2022: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Wednesday said that the government is lifting all the coronavirus related restrictions across the country.
In a tweet, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) head Asad Umar wrote that, "It was decided in the NCOC meeting today to lift all restrictions except the vaccination restrictions."
"All those who are not vaccinated must get fully vaccinated so that they can avoid all restrictions. We will continue to monitor disease pattern closely & take action if needed," he added.
Asad Umar said that the covid-19 cases are witnessing a continuous decline across Pakistan, so all restrictions are being lifted, adding that, the pandemic has not ended yet but undergoing the ending phase. (04)
