Pakistan reports 363 more corona cases with 13 fatalities in a day


ISLAMABAD: 25, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has jumped to 1,283,223 on Thursday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 363 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.88 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 474,772 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 442,714, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,774, in Balochistan 33,458 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,554, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,411 while 34,540 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,690 deaths so far, after 13 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,007 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,619 in Sindh, 5,825 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 359 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 952 deaths and AJK recorded 742 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,796,915, corona tests and 41,240 in last 24 hours and 1,240,995 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 460,120 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 424,604 in Punjab, 172,947 in KP, 33,031 in Balochistan, 106,319 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,211 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,763 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 1,002 patients are in critical condition.
