PMD predicts dry weather in most parts of country


ISLAMABAD: 27, OCTOBER, 2021: Pakistan Meteorological Department on Wednesday has predicted dry weather in most areas of the country while cold in northern areas during the next 12 hours.
As per met office, partly cloudy/dry weather in Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula, partly cloudy in Anantnag and Shopian, dry weather in Jammu.
Cold and dry weather is expected to remain in Leh.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 12 degree centigrade in the federal capital, Lahore and Peshawar 15, Karachi 21, Quetta 5, Gilgit 4, Murree 8 and Muzaffarabad 9 degree centigrade.
On October 25, PMD had predicted rain along with wind and thunderstorm in parts of country during the next 12 hours.
As per weather office, rain with thunderstorm in the federal capital, upper-central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 12 hours while snowfall is also expected over mountains at a few places in upper districts.
During the period, isolated heavy showers and hailstorm are likely to lash upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and Kashmir.
The PMD has forecast cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstorm in Jammu, Pulwama and Baramula and cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind-thunderstorm and snow over mountains in Srinagar, Leh, Anantnag and Shopian in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. (04)
