Road mishap in Sadiqabad leaves four dead

SADIQABAD: 04, MARCH, 2022: Four of a family lost their lives in a collision between a motorcycle and a trailer in Sadiqabad on late Thursday night.
According to details, the road mishap happened at the National Highway in Sadiqabad where a motorcycle collided with a trailer, resulting a man, his two sons and a daughter died on the spot.
After getting information, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead bodies to hospital.
Eye-witnesses said that the accident took place owing to over-speeding.
As per sources, the ill-fated family was returning to their village Kamon Shaheed from Sadiqabad.
Earlier, on January 28, at least three people were dead including woman while two others were wounded in a road accident in Karachi Thursday night.
According to details, the road mishap happened near Lohay Wala Pull in Kathor in Karachi where a truck collided with a car, as a result, three persons died on the spot and two others were critically injured.
On receiving information about the accident, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead and injured to hospital. (04)
