Several Motorway Sections Closed As dense Fog grips Punjab

LAHORE: 20, JANUARY, 2022: Dense fog paralyzed routine life and disrupted normal road, rail and air traffic to and from various cities in Punjab on night between Wednesday and Thursday.
According to details, the authorities also temporarily closed the motorways due to low visibility including the Motorway M3 section from Faizpur to Darkhana, Motorway M4 from Haho Interchange to Toba and Gojra Interchange and Motorway M5 from Multan to Rahim Yar Khan.
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights during driving at very slow speed as the visibility was dropped to very low owing to dense fog while people have also been directed to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling as visibility was down to zero metres at some places.
